Victor A. Scarnecchia, D.C., CSCS
Victor A. Scarnecchia, D.C., CSCS, is a trained and licensed chiropractic physician and certified strength and conditioning specialist. He completed his B.A. at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. In addition, he completed his CSCS through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
As a chiropractor and trainer, Dr. Scarnecchia uses his extensive knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics to approach each patient’s painful and functionally limiting conditions. Dr. Scarnecchia has advanced training in sports and functional rehabilitation, Motion Palpation, McKenzie Therapy and Kinesio Taping. He also took part in a global health internship in Nicaragua. He encourages patients to participate in their recovery, providing rehabilitation exercises to treat and prevent further injuries. Dr. Scarnecchia continues to expand his education as a means to further help his patients. He is passionate about helping patients of all ages and abilities achieve their health related goals.
In his free time, Dr. Scarnecchia enjoys all types of outdoor activities. His hobbies include recreational sports, hiking, skiing and biking.
Bailey Zimmel, D.C., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac.
Bailey Zimmel, D.C., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)®, is a trained and licensed chiropractic physician and acupuncturist. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh and her Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Acupuncture degrees from National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Zimmel has extensive training in pediatric and maternal health, including Webster Technique, as well as Motion Palpation, McKenzie Therapy and Kinesio Taping.
The core of Dr. Zimmel’s treatment philosophy incorporates and balances Eastern and Western medical practices, while guiding her patients towards a healthier and more conscious lifestyle. Her clinical experience includes successfully helping patients find relief from acute and chronic pain; maintaining healthy and comfortable pregnancies; co-managing infertility cases; providing nutritional guidance and treatments for pediatric conditions; and managing stress and anxiety related-disorders. She has also completed a global health internship in Nicaragua and rotations in the anesthesiology and pain management clinic at Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. Her time spent working in conjunction with anesthesiologists at Stroger Hospital, further solidified her beliefs in a complementary and integrative approach to medicine.
When Dr. Zimmel is not in the office, she enjoys yoga, good coffee, and exploring the Charlotte area with Victor and their two dogs, Dolan and Piper.
